I have decided to put my Daytona back on the road as a winter project. She’s a 1998 and one owner from new (me) but hasn’t been on the road for 5+ years because I couldn’t handle the riding position any more. ☹️ Today I fitted a CNC Top Yoke conversion and Renthal 758 bars (thanks shaunthe2nd ) and I am pretty pleased with the result. I still have some adjustments to do, cables to tidy and brakes to set up but the riding position is a massive improvement for my 54 year old back. 😉 There are more jobs to do but she’s almost there cosmetically. Here’s a before photo for comparison.

Is there no clash with the fairing? I debated this on an R1 but would have had to cut the fairing, so fitted Gilles risers instead. Looks a good job 👍

Looks a good job 👍 I would describe it more as a nudge on both full left and right lock, nothing that would damage the fairing and I can still use the steering lock. 👍 I did consider risers but I have a thing about Renthal 758 bars. 🤣
