So it’s the Classic TT with a couple of ‘Manx’ races so they can still say it’s ‘The Manx’. With no Newcombers race ! so where do the new racers come from? And when you see what they’re doing for the TT, the amateur side of things will be just about gone. Also where do people who haven’t got big bucks behind them start? When the Manx dies the TT will follow when young riders arent coming through Hope its not the beggining of the end As the Island has now proved that they can survive without both TT and Manx races for last 2 years. hopefully when a definitive statement is issued by the club then things will become a bit clearer. Not the best of news.

Its not great, but better than nothing I suppose. I understand what you say about the upcoming racers though, I just hope they can join the field on the planned races.
I went to the last Classic/Manx, it was my first, although have been to the main TT several times, but I preferred the Classic/Manx, and that it would be my preferred option next time I manage to go.
Fingers crossed for some racing next year. Any news on Scarborough?

Short sighted. I’m all booked for next year. Hope this doesn’t start to change the paddock. I love just wandering around in the lower paddock looking at the small teams and their dedication to the sport. No money rarely big sponsors living in tents and 50 yr old caravans that’s the true heart of the sport. Without them and the new comers no feeder system no up comers, no main event. Then if you look at the established stars how did they start?
