Used to work with a lad, who after a night shift, would drive up to the Mac loop straight from work, grab a couple of hours Kip on the hillside, and then video and photo the planes coming through.
Not my thing, but he had some impressive shots to be fair.

I dragged the Mrs to the Mach Loop recently and after years of convincing her to come with me we saw Feck All and got drenched π Apparently you need to be "in the know " to be able to find out when they are going through, its like a secret squirrel society from what I can see, and they limit the info to as few as possible, but on a good sunny day, when they know there is going to he traffic, the hillsides can get quite busy. Still a mental thing to do on the off chance some wheelie pulling LC rider decides to show off Forum analogy there.

I know what you mean, I did check the RAF web site for timings but a local buff said the jet (a Hawk) was unexpectedly grounded but some US F15s were due later on. Well, we waited and waited but eventually gave up. π₯Ί
