Trying to seperate stuck multi block connectors, what is a safe way of doing this as I don't won't to damage the wiring loom any more than it has already, thanks

You really need one of the tools available to remove the connections from the blocks, some are easily done with a small flat blade screwdriver but the round ones really need the proper tool to do it without damage. Do a search on here as it’s been covered many times in the past.

Sounds like he needs to get the connectors apart, soak in a electrical spray, and a bit of wiggling/tapping should sort it, might possibly be a burnt connector if you're unlucky, and due to age, I wouldn't be prising them apart with screwdrivers either, they can be quite brittle now. (could be wrong end of the stick though)

The blocks with the generator wiring? You can use a different pair of blocks for these (if it is) Ones more able to deal with the amperage. Will require new terminals to be crimped to the loom.

If this is still an issue I had one that just would not separate despite all the wiggling and soaking in wd40. In the end I used some circlip pliers to carefully squeeze the blocks apart at the tightest points.

buy the tool, use the tool, dont bugger up the tool... or cut it back to where it works again... use the tool again...
