Hello
My 1981 Swiss 250LC swinging arm bolt does not have the grease nipples at each end. I have looked at other bike pictures, and even the reference pictures on skills.com and see my type ie no nipples , however I visited someone today that has 3 250LC and they are all with the grease nipples all of which are swiss. I then looked at the Haynes manual page 131 and it shows one without the grease nipples.
Is it that there are variations by year, or country, any nuggets of wisdom?
Cheers Paul

According to the bloke at abbastands there is no reason behind whether you have grease nipples or not, or at which end. They make their adapters to suit each customer

Generally agree with above, was a later Yam mod to provide extra swing arm bolt lube.

Thanks to all, I for a while thought I had to replace it, but it seems correct, mines an 81 registered. Are there any other tell tale signs/difference from the early year(s)? Mine has tie bars which I assume came later in any case.
