Hi can anyone help, ive just removed the front of my headlight and on removing it found that the last owner was a total t**t, when i pulled the front of the light the small light bulb was hanging down, this has only one wire going to it, one has been cut, can anyone tell me what colour wires should go here and and can i get the small bulb holder from on its own , also how is the best way to pull these connectors apart because they dont wont to move at the moment, and dont wont to cause more damage., thanks all help thanked

Thanks mate, picture great help, would you be able to show me a picture where a black wire goes, it's in a loom of 4 wires which go to the left hand side of the battery , there is I believe a relay which is held by a rubber strap and I have 3 wires going to it and a black wire going nowhere, can you show me where this wire goes to, I hope you can understand me, thanks a bunch for your help, I'm useless when it comes to wiring. Thanks stay safe.

The wire with the blue ring terminal is the side light ground connection you are referring to.
It should not be a ring terminal connected to the headlight bolt, as that may be insulated by the paint on the headlight brackets. It should have a male bullet connector plugged into the highlighted 3-way female connector highlighted in red by OEB.
Cheers

Cheers Thanks mate I was woundering if the head light bolt connection was not suitable, can you help me with another matter, I'm trying to locate my temperature sensor cable but it's been cut, I followed it from clocks to headlight and then the red and green wire from. The four block connector goes down main loom, but doesn't come out near the coil like it should, if I cut and connect a new feed just before it goes down loom and connect new wire this will work ok yes, can you tell me what size wire I need to purchase and what size is the terminal which connects to the sensor on the head, hope you can help thanks I only need a few feet of cable I think, many thanks for you great help, thanks stay safe.

If you do need a spade connector dont get the blue or red plastic things, buy some that are crimped and have clear rubbery covers like OEM.
I agree with Rob that earth wire to the headlight bowl bolt is a no-no, always use the connectors Yam intended. You can run extra earthing wires, but that one is a poor choice.
