I have a set of NC29 wheels and swing arm I'm hoping to use in my hybrid with K5 GSXR600 front forks. I hope my hybrid turns out as well as yours has, its looking very nice.

I'm sure it will Robbie π I do think you have to gamble a little on wheels, swingarm, forks, finishes, colour choices and hope it turns out well. That's why this is a great forum with plenty of info of what works and what doesn't. I spend hours reading through old posts picking up pointers and ideas I can use. This being my first hybrid build I couldn't of achieved anything like this without all the info contained in this site from bike builders past and present π

A few more bits bolted back on. Ive decided to keep the original indicators, headlight, footrests and clocks just to keep it abit more original looking. I've gone for headlight brackets that looked the closest to original I just need to drill a hole for indicator stalks. The inner mudguard was abit of a pain to get back on with it going around the shock I had to remove the swingarm then bolt the shock on to the Arm then push it through and back in place then bolt it all back up. There wasn't enough space to push the bolt through the bottom of the shock when the mudguard was around it.

Is it Matt black or a gray ? ππ Hi Chris the swingarm is done in armor black it is matt black but does look abit grey against the gloss black frame. He did have a carbon black which is more grey. Cheers bud I'm happy with it although sometimes I think it looks like high temp exhaust paint π. Rob

That mudguard as got to go π€ Other than that itβs looking good π Cheers matt π yer I'm not too keen on the mudguard either bulky looking isn't it. There isn't many options as far as I've looked other than to trim it down. Was thinking a carbon one but then think they look good colour coded. I've got a rear mudguard for rgv arm and think it looks too bulky aswell. Rob

Or did you mean the rear? π No mate the front looks good π Iβm on about the back it doesnβt follow the wheel lines It makes the wheel look too far back π

Only my opinion though itβs your bike
Iβd lose the back mudguard and make something from under the light
Your call mate π

That is brilliant. Looks like it was designed by Yamaha. And it's very discreet too. Great work!

You might need a bigger radiator with the added capacity, be nice to keep the std rad guard though, one of the Chinese ones might do, think they are 10mm thicker.

Jess Hi jessy I have noticed everyone else putting on bigger rads its definitely in the back of my mind, ive got an uprated impeller I was going to try it as is to see we're its at then change it or add a fan if needed. I agree with keeping the cover if I can π Rob

master cyl looks good. I used the OEM RGV version on mine (with Raask rearsets)
I agree the back end would look better with some kind of tail tidy and also that a bigger rad may be needed. You could plastic weld two covers together to keep the OEM look.
