This looks lovely Yogi, is it a fe-fresh of the old 385 (same bodywork) or something new? Mouse Cheers mouse Original bodywork, clocks, seat and wheels, all the rest went on Waggers hybrid 👍 Cheers Matt 🐻

I bought this engine with a fresh rebore and pistons, the oil had been changed as well Still not taking chances so I opened it up Another one with the crank seal in backwards and the valves were worn on the inners But what I found in the sump was far worse, thank god I didn’t take a chance on it Matt 🐻

Smarter than the average bear!
Good on ya Yogi, just shows that not everyone's idea of 'fresh' is quite the same! Glad you found it.

Vape power Dynamo too! I have one to fit to my LC motor but not got round to it yet. Did you need to fettle anything to make it fit or was it straight forward enough. Also the rotor is not keyed so interested to see if timing it up is easy too. Watching intently 😉 John

Well I took what I hoped was the easiest option after buying a Dti I welded a 2mm washer to a piece of flat bar and bolted it across the barrel Then after speaking to Dave(muttsnutts) lined the flywheel up with the trailing edge halfway across the lobe Last thing was to set the pick up gap at .40 Matt 🐻

Might even get a chance to get back onto some of my own projects including the turbo one
