For the little Mito. Means I've had her almost a year now and I've enjoyed every moment. Went over her earlier and I can't find anything amiss so she should pass ok. Wish me luck!

Cheers lads. Decent weather or not she's booked in! And I really don't like riding in the rain...

wow a year already! Time flies...
You'll be fine Alex, you'd have fixed anything iffy as you ride the bike etc.

Well...she failed and I got soaked. Headlight is a Euro spec one...can't afford a UK one so they did say they'll slap some tape on them for me. Seat is loose. Not a problem. And the rear shock and exhaust mounting bushes are shagged. Now that's kind of a problem as I can't find any. However there are universal ones I can use...trouble is I need to take the old bushes out to see what size they are and that is a bit tricky with a fully faired bike and no centre stand. I'm working this weekend but hoping to have a go at this (somehow!) on Monday.

Hi mate Can you whip the belly pan off and get that jack that's under the Lc at the mo, and jack up under the engine on the frame tubes ? Stick some axle stands under the Lc for the time being ( I have a pair of stands you can borrow if needed) Loosen off nuts and bolts before you jack it up Dusty

Abba stand is a good one unless you need to drop the swinger too.

There are no frame tubes mate! All I can think of is either laying the bike on it's side (not something I want to do) or use that chain system I have in the workshop/antique shop. But I reckon it's going to be a bugger to do.

Abba stand is a good one unless you need to drop the swinger too. You get a swing arm removal kit for the abba stand 2 big bobbins that screw into the footpeg hanger mount bolts Stand locates onto them instead of the swing arm pivot Steve

Yep. I've got one. All the adapters and gubbins really add up! They do a trade kit, but even then..

Is the front spindle hollow
Bit of rod through it then use a paddock stand
Then either Jack under the rear of the engine or tie the rear to the ceiling

Use axle stands under the foot rests. If they fold up, replace them with bolts.

With my renewed mojo I had a go at the Mito today. First job was the exhaust bush. Luckily I had a spare that fitted so one job done. Then I made up a little bracket and the seat now bolts down. And after much swearing and effort I also loosened the rear shock bolt. That was a right bugger. Next up is axle stands to whip the dead bush out, and I'm hoping I have a new one kicking about, and then it's sort out the clutch cable routing.
