Hi all Just wondered please if anybody had bought stuff on eBay from the USA And if you did is the eBay price the total or do you get hammered on import duty on top of the eBay cost? Looking at this for my 400f Best wishes and thanks in advance to all Al

If it gives you an import charge in the listing then you will pay no more
If there is no mention of import fees then chances are you will pay import duty and vat
Then it is down to what carrier gets it once it arrives in the UK
Small stuff usually goes Royal Mail who will card you telling you to pay and charge you £8 On top
Bigger stuff usually parcelforce who will also card you and charge £12
If it's eBay global shipping it will usually list it in the listing so you are pre paying
If it is UPS they do not charge a fee, just whatever you owe

Really strange how the whole import thing works both USA and Europe, just got a nos selector shaft kh250 from the USA Today and didn’t pay a penny import tax, but in the past got approx £60 bill for an item I bought. On the Europe thing was told I would be stung both vat and tax when two weeks ago I purchased a nos pipe from France,, again only payed for the item with not an extra penny being billed. Not very helpful I know , but that’s what’s happened with me very recently. Paul 🛵🛵🛵
