I bought a scrap RD350YPVS on Ebay with the intention of restoring to original condition. However it was so bad I nearly dumped it. Then I saw Nikfubars 2nd Hybrid on the old forum(RIP?) and this inspired me to proceed with a lightweight hybrid. Purchased RGV front end and rear end complete with wheels, brakes etc, and off we go. Front end is a doddle, only a 5mm spacer to make. Swinging arm fits if you remove 2 thin washers, and make a sleeve for the spindle. I goot some Sandvic Stainless hydraulic tube 20mm OD, 2mm wall which fits neatly inside the RGV bushes and allows the 31K spindle to fit perfectly. No machining required other than getting the length right. I have some tube left if anybody wants some. Made up some brackets to use the RGV shock and threw it together to see if it all worked. It did, now just the brackets to tidy up and a few spacers to make. I am now removing all unwanted brackets and trying to lose as much weight as possible. I plan to use the RGV tank and seat , but the MITO does look good. So here's some pics, thanks to Steve for guidance with this. Cheers for now Jim

The bike's posted on here as well
