Hi Guys
I am going to replace my 40 year old monoshock with a brand new YSS one at the weekend.
I want to know if there are specific torque settings for the top shock bolt and the bottom shock bolt.
Also any set up tips for the new shocker.
Thanks

Regards tips for the new shock - the YSS has a small grub screw that locks the adjuster ring in place. Once you loosen the screw you use a steel rod (supplied) to wind the ring either up or down to preload the spring. Make sure the grub screw is orientated so you can access it from above, ie. you can see it looking down onto the shock. If you cant see the grub screw you will have a hell of a job getting to it to loosen it off for adjustment. Adjusting the shock isn't the easiest on an Lc to be honest, but a hidden grub screw will spoil your day !! 20161210_171019 by dusty miller, on Flickr And adjust/check length before you fit the shock. 315mm eye to eye is standard but the Yss can go 5mm either way so if you want to raise the back end a bit, I would do adjust the shock's length before fitting Dusty
