For some reason my pipes sound much louder than when I last used my bike pre engine rebuild around 18 months ago, its either the extra 35cc as it's now a 385 or maybe because I had the pipes off the bike stood up in the corner of the garage and the oil has drained into the wadding. So I'm going to order some new wadding but do I pack it lightly leaving an air gap or fill the end cans tight to make it quieter , any recommendations on wadding ?

Better than trying to cut the fibreglass stuff, its horrid stuff fiberglass, I cut some in the house not thinking, I had a sore throat from it never again, someone recommended this stuff, I haven't used it yet but it gets good comments and you don't have fiberglass shards everywhere, including in your lungs if your not careful and on your clothes itching like mad, avoid fiberglass like the plague. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313021752982

Been for its MOT today and the tester said not to pack full , just wrap a small amount around the baffle, Sure I've seen both 2 and 4 stroke wadding . I've got TSA's on a mo but I have a pair of small can Allspeeds in black chrome and some small can Microns , the Microns were the quietest but it's flat spot and go with them.

I am just about to repack my TZ-Mike cans as one is very loud. I have opened it up and the wadding is packed in pretty tight. Got some of this stuff to try. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233920020506As mentioned above, the instructions say not to pack to too tight, as it expands when heated.

Got no packing at all in the Allspeed Hy-powers on my LC2 and never thought it's overly loud.
Just a nice crackle and screams at high revs.... lovely!😁

A while back i saw some stuff that was already rolled and you just cut to length and slide over if youve got all the other dims right.
