Why don't 4 stroke bikes not have a carb balance pipe ?
Think some of the old British twins had one but read it was to compensate for poorly balanced carbs ?

Why would they need one, all individual cylinders run on their own Carb, in fact, what bikes run balance pipes?
And I don't mean the choke pipe on LC's

Maybe just a reed valve thing?
Like a boost bottle it increases the intake volume

The original Yamaha Vmax uses a servo and controller on the carb manifolds to link them to good effect. I found that the servo controller from the FZR 400R SP 1WG opened the butterflys at lower revs. Thats part of the attraction of Yamaha, they had a parts bin commonality approach.
