Been dithering wether to get one or not. Had a look at a Himalayan last year but was put off by how cheap it looked 🙄. Quite like the look of the Interceptor and didn't like the GT until I saw someone fit bar risers on one and looked far more comfortable. I've not heard a bad thing about them anyone out there got one ?

Chap in the village got one, no problems that I know of. Look OK to me, if I was in the market for a modern "retro" style bike, I'd certainly give one a go.

That's ok, I've noticed resell value on the older RE's are pretty poor compared to the BSA's and Triumph's Of the same year.

Best way to find out is buy one! 10 people can give 10 different opinions! even if they've never owned one! I quite like the look of the interceptor... and if I was a bit healthier I'd have one with a chair on it. (since Ural have no dealer in the UK now)

Everyone I know who had one of the Enfield models said how gutless they are

Loads of people seem to rate the new Royal Enfield 650s as a bike to bimble around on, but I can help but feel it's going to be lacking in the power department.

I visited the Watsonian Squire headquarters a couple of years ago, they were the official Royal Enfield importer at one point and are still the official dealer for the Cotswolds. Got to say they looked good. A friend who has owned a lot of classic bikes bought the Interceptor 650, the one with the chrome tank and really rated it.
