What is the best product for engine cases, I have tried the offerings from Shambits and been dissapointed, seem to just peel off.
There must be a better product out there or powder coat?

If you want black then Simoniz/Sperex Tough black satin. It behaves like the original PJ1 or the old Sperex competition black. It's heat and fuel resistant once cured and can be manipulated to give different depths of finish. Surface prep is the key for any paint though and i always blast clean the parts and warm them slightly to sweat out any moisture.

Its all about prep no matter what you use if spray the surface has to be %100 grease free fuel oil or anything elce .

i settled on VHT engine enamel after trying several. It's gives the best satin finish i think, easy to put on and IS fuel resistant once cured
