Hi all, welcome your assistance. I have MK2 125LC ypvs import. Been advised an early MK1TZR carb would work, so have fitted one. Fist install bike not starting, took it off and pilot jet blocked. I'm a dummy for not cleaning it first! Now cleaned everything i can and due to re-fit.
This carb has several pipe outlets, I guess two on right side are coolant, main one left side (facing up) is fuel inlet, but there is another small nozzel below the in-let? sticks out to the side. looks like it goes to the bowl. Be good if you can tell me what this is for please? Should it be connected somewhere?
Also noticed the temperature wire to the head is frayed and snapped,, which I can re-solder, but will this disconnection affect starting?
Thanks, Chris

Hello folks, realised the pipe on inlet side is for 2 stroke. Numpty. How else would 2T get in. (running premix) Blanked it off, cleaned carb and bike started, revving nicely after warmed and ticks over nicely. Yet to take it out on the TZT MK1 carb.
If bikes works well, got original Mk1/2 pipe, MK3 pipe to get rid off. Someone might need them, plus two re-painted x5 allspeeds - no down pipes. Perhaps I can put these up for sale soon. I dont't do bike restoration, I do get it working and ride it. Cheers, Chris
