Hycote lacquer. Apply it in warm conditions and use thin coats. It's very good.

Depends on if you have a laminated decal or non-laminated. The laminated ones need no lacquer.

It came from Norbo and it looks original so I am not sure if it is laminated or not, I expect not.
I think if the OEM were not clear coated I will just stick it on.

I have used the product on the left for this belly pan. It is a 2K spray but is not 100% petrol proof. Ok if you wipe off straight away. The one on the right is 2K has the agitator with the hardener which is petrol proof and a much better system

Be VERY wary of 2k paint in cans... most of this stuff has nasties in it that can kill you stone dead if youre one of the people who is effected badly by the chemicals. Always wear a special mask for this stuff. Ive said before but at my paint place one of the guys tells the story of a bloke who had a can made up, nipped outside to spray a tester and didnt come back. The ambulance crew pronounced his dead on their doorstep... be careful.

I've also used the Pro XL 2k in a can, with a specific mask.
But you don't really need that for the mudguard, only the fuel tank to avoid damage when filling up.
Unless you do the porn star splash it all over..
