Well ive had a ccm 404 for many a year, its quite modified, has a 4mm stroker crank, 4mm overbored plated cylinder, lumpy cams, no airbox, and twin RS4 yoshi cans ... goes well, or it did since its not actually been used since I had my hybrid LC. Well since ive retired, ive decided I wanted another, was gob smacked when the spitfire series of bikes were launched a couple of years back, and of the variations of that initial launch bike, the flat tracker looked the part. So today i now have #235 of 250 total build. Has had lots of the billet aluminum and carbon accessories thrown at it, plus a stage one remap to the husky 600cc engine, so should be around 62hp. Frame is cherry red in colour, as there has been issues with the original bare lacqured versions, as some were suffering with slight rusting issues, not bad, but enough for ccm to offer to replace the frame and swing arm, and paint the new one in the colour of the owners choice, if they wanted to. 13 on the side is the previous owners choice for some reason, should be 71 in reference to when Clews started ccm, may reverse that. can't wait for some warmer weather.
