I thought I just needed to carry out a rust clean up on the inside of my 31k tank. It had a lot of weld work on it and I assumed it was fuel tight, but after 3 days soaking in Deox-C it has developed 2 or 3 pin holes.
Whenever I have used sealant before (I've used Tank Cure and Por-15 several times) I always bought the full kit cleaner/derust/sealer from the same manufacturer and followed the instructions to the letter.
So my question is, has anyone used a sealer after a deox-c tank clean, and if so which one, and any special precautions?
I don't want to repeat the clean/derust process again, nor cost with other products unless I have to. thanks. Shaun

Think the consensus I'd Flowliner or Caswell
I found when I had one welded it was the welds which were porous and they sweated
Lining will sort it

I considered Flowliner after Deox C, almost ordered from Wyldes. It appeared to be one of the better ones going by reports and comments as above.
Because I had a solid tank, I decided not to bother and just look after it but if I had any issue, that would be the one.

Thanks guys. I'm going to ring Wyldes in the morning to see if I can pick a Flowliner up from them tomorrow so I can give it a go over the long weekend. Sooner the better before my de-rusted tank flashes over!
