Nice little job coming up for the White & Blue N2. Front is far too soft so i'm fitting Yss emulators & Racetech FRSP S2643080 springs, hopefully get them done this weekend if i get the Red & White one finished and off the bench. Inner damper rod removed from a spare set and the compression holes opened up plus 2 more drilled. The Yss instuctions say to leave the rebound holes so i will leave them and see how it feels and do the Racetech mod to them if needed. IMG_2252[4092] by Gary Woodward, on Flickr

Lotsa info on Em valves in this forum. (search?) Go with the YSS instructions. Note that Em valves ONLY control compression. Rebound remains, as before, down to Oil viscosity. Curious as Rebound is THE important part of shockers. But compression is easier to build for and satisfies the buyer with instantly palpable results. Suggest Cutting 4 coils from your OEM springs (use PVC pipe as compensation spacers) Then use Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF (yess) as fork oil. Try it.. instead of immediately laughing.

I am going with Yss instructions and have read everything i can find about doing this mod for about a year. The Racetech springs in the pic are the ones that are going in. I've used Synthetic Atf for quite a few years in forks so that's what will be used again.
