Do DPD not usually email you telling them when they are coming?
Never paid for a redelivery

Yup, I get loads of those messages. Straight into the bin.
There are so many people just now with eff all to do and cannot go anywhere so buy loads of stuff on line. Scammers throw out loads of emails like this knowing that people are waiting for deliveries and hope to catch some unaware.
I have yet to experience any couriers, even those with sh*t reputations, who do not attempt a second delivery without leaving at least a note.
My tuppence, don't pay. If genuine, they will get back to you.

I keep getting a recorded type phone call stating that its Amazon prime and they are due to renew my prime for 79.99, press 1 to speak to customer services. Obviously a scam. I think if you press 1 its going to cost me dear on a premium line with a minimum fee.

The DPD tracking app is worth installing and setting up. When they get a delivery for your address it lets you track the location of the van that's delivering your package and notifies you when your delivery is next.

With any scam, dont click the links in emails, go to the company website and search from there.

Somethings happened i got sent a new bank card today because there’s been some fraudulent activity on my card ! First i new about it i had to phone the bank as i thought the new card was a scam, the strange thing is the card has only been used for shopping and taking cash out (not since the pub shut)its never been used online.

Cards have an NFC (near field communications) tag built in to them now, which means a card can be read by someone standing next to you in a queue or walking past you. The only way to stop this is to keep your cards in a metal wallet.

Could be a dodgy cash machine
You may just have been lucky and they got your number wrong so the cloned card has been eaten by the machine when they tried to use it

People laugh at me covering my hand when putting the number in but if you don't and it's got a card reader and overhead hidden camera you are stuffed
I had it once on a credit card I'd only taken for a balance transfer. Only used it once paying for a hotel
Month later the card operator is on asking if I just bought an I phone in America 🙄

Beware of dialling phone numbers lest you connect to a high charging answering service. Do a Google search of the number first.

Lots and lots of these type off scams going on
They include banks, courier services, telephone companies, internet companies, investment companies or streaming services. I get at least 30 emails a week and 3 phone calls. Some even have photos of celebrities that have supposedly used the investment ones to get rich, again all lies
Not sure how they manage to get a persons exact email, the scammers are getting pretty clever at designing the email to look like the businesses legitimate site
As above don't click on any link, go to the business direct either by phone or by their official website
A really good clue is the spelling of words aren't quite right or the grammar is wrong
Hover over the senders email with your mouse and it will show the email address it came from, it will not be the company the claim to be, more like some gobbledygook
Keep a close eye on your parents who may not be that savvy and end up losing their savings, it happens a lot

I distrust every email, and ignore them all, especially those from the biggest liars and fraudsters ever...GOV UK. They can swivel on my unvaccinated finger. There has never been so many fraudsters at it as there are now. We keep getting emails from a club we are no longer members in... and the sender uses the name of the membership sec.... who is also an ex member. These emails come from asia. They must of gained access to the clubs database.
