Well the hot n cold method should do it might not be effortless though id be prepared with a suitable dolly just in case

If you can find a tube with an ID slightly bigger that the OD of the crank, it should tap on.
Although if your like me, the tube that would be a perfect fit was the one that you took to the tip last week after tripping on it for the last 5 years.

Method I used was recommended by a mate that has been playing with smokers for years. Warm up the inner ring and slide them on with the crank cold. Make up a couple of tube spacers and washers so you can use the primary and flywheel nuts to stop them creeping back as they cool. Better still turn up a hat spacer out of mild steel that is a clearance fit inside the bearing with a M8 bolt for a handle fitted to the side of the larger diameter. Place inside the bearing and heat(not too much) remove and slip bearing on. I also used to get a large drill and recess the top side were you heat it from to concentrate the flame away from the bearing.
