Honda NC 750 ?? Thinking of buying one..2017 model its a cat c but intended to be a keeper i was looking for the answer to this the Ignition switch needs replacing as it was damaged in a Attempted Theft will it need re programming at a dealer or just plug and play Cheers

It is Honda HISS equipped. It will need some sorting, and it may be possible to disarm it, there is info on doing this on't net. It probably interacts with the ECU, so maybe a new lock and key from a scrappers will need to be synced with your ECU?

Hi Steve Yes it is HISS Equipped the key is with the bike..the switch is broke in the on position so with the key close to the switch & battery connected the bike runs / rides going to ring round some dealers this morning to see what sort of costs are involved

Shame you cant get the barrel/ lock fixed? Even if anything (flattened wire ect) turns the lock ...it aint going anywhere with HISS. I believe some of the car key cutters do bike also and advertise they are cheaper than the manufacturers. I imagine its telephone numbers with Honda.....

I would think you can just get the ignition barrel, and then would have to either transfer the HISS chip to the new key, or just cut the key part off the original key and put it on a keyring with the new key.
