Hi All, Will be painting the original factory exhausts soon. What do you guys recommend as best heat resistant satin black paint that looks factory-ish?
Also, the cans have seen better days so may need to be fettled and painted too. Satin silver heat resistant. Again any suggestions gratefully received 👍🙂

I used matt BBQ spray then VHT gloss lacquer and i ended up with a satin finish

I got mine done in cerakote. Came up a treat. The cerakote looks great. I understand that to be a heat resistant ceramic coating. May I ask approx how much those cost to cerakote? Pm if like.

I got mine done at a powder coated who put a ceramic coating on it.

The satin metal protection paint from Lidl (Bauerfix?) is brilliant.
Lovely finish that is petrol resistant and has lasted years on my bikes. Cheap and no need to bake either.

Is this rattle can or Brush as got a couple of 31k top cases to paint? Rattle can. I've not tried it on cases though. I use Hycote black engine enamel for that and also for frames. Gives a good durable thicker finish. Only seams to be Gloss and top engine cases are matt i believe.

Plastikote woodstove black 26030 code is satin other one is mat. Good stuff but gets harder with heat about £8:00 a can

It's all I use on exhausts most other stuff either don't look right colour wise Finnish. Or it's dull or don't last Rustolium stuff or VHT s like blackboard paint 😵
