Not sure how many of you are on the Facebook pages, but I've posted up on there also.
Entered a JB Performance raffle as I always do and ended up winning a Mars Bar 250LC! It's a Swedish import last year and the guy who imported it was already in touch through FB with photos which was much appreciated.
Always wanted a proper jap 2 stroke, albeit an RGV/NSR/TZR or the like as that's what I remember from growing up, but love this and the more I read the more I love it. I also have a BMW S1000RR and one of the new Honda Monkey 125s, but this will be staying where it is and I fully intend on enjoying it and taking it the road races and Classic TT when allowed again.
It's my first 2 stroke and still trying to understand the whole RD world so any advice and info much appreciated.Think first job I do will be to send the oil pump to arrow as from reading up on here it will be for the best. Set of Allspeeds would be great also to preserve the original exhaust.
Will post photos when I know how to!

Fantastic luck, winning the bike and finding this forum! Its great to hear a happy story.
I rebuilt a Swedish 250 LC previously and turned into a great bike and still out there as far as I know. Enjoy yours and welcome to the forum.

Nice introduction, welcome aboard, you'll be hooked on 2 strokes once you feel the power band, and the sound with expansion chambers is ace

Thanks all for the welcome!
Haha, if I added up what I'd spent in raffles I'd be sick! But this one o bought one ticket at 9 quid so can't be bad lol.
Honestly out of all my bikes I can't wait to get a spin in this. Followed by the Monkey and then followed by the S1000RR. Small bikes are all you really need in the road IMO.
Fastline Superbikes did a lot of the work to the bike before JB bought the bike, so will find out what they done then do anything extra from there.

Welcome and congratulations on your new bike. Apart from my lc I have other bikes which are way faster. But the lc gives me the biggest grin with its character and sound ππ»

Cheers all for the welcomes!
First newbie question then, I read that the German bikes were restricted. Does this apply to the Swedish as well? Is it just a matter of checking carb numbers?

carbs and pipes are good places to look.
Have a bit of a look on rd350lc.net as that will give you lots of good info.

Wow, that was nine quid well spent, about the price of a pint in Sweden, welcome to the house.

Will get the carbs checked to see what they are, but exhaust will be getting changed regardless.
Talking of which, is there still a big wait for Allspeeds? From what I've read on here there can be a bit of a wait

My chromed Allspeeds for my 400e were 10 weeks from ordering to delivery, late last year. If I had bought them unchromed, it would have been 2 weeks. Seems the chromers can be a bit temperamental ! (Gibsons verdict, not mine ) Dusty
