probably cos they have hundreds of em and lots of people dont send em back?
My advice with these (if youve checked out this forum you will have seen this before) is; pay up and buy OEM. Cheaper in the long run.
But, someone needs to be the guinea pig for these apparent Euro made ones, so maybe get one and report back? theyre not expensive unless the money is wasted...

I'm with jonw, I bought a Yambits cable and it was wrong. Bought an OEM cable and no probs fitting and it will last.

Norbo's throttle cable works ok on my LC2. There's very little adjustment left at the carb tops in order for the oil pump to work properly but it's perfectly functional.

Great site as Venhill will be too expensive for us Europeans. Ahhhh... no VAT and no duties then Mr Jugs I ordered some body work and it was sent as a gift it was insured for 150 pounds and when it arrived here they wanted 60 euros import taxes. I asked them what the rules were about gifts, they said they had made a mistake and i didn't have to pay anything.

Norbo used to stock excellent pattern Lc throttle cables that were exactly the same length as the Yam cable, but £30 instead of, at the time - 90 quid (they were £105 last time I bought one from Fowlers). Sadly Norbo ran out some time back - maybe he can tell us if he will be getting more ? Interestingly, I bought a new, genuine Yam cable for my 400E. £65 from Fowlers. I've got it sat on the bench, and did wonder just how different it would be to an Lc cable. If anyone has a new Lc cable they want to measure, we can compare it to the 400e. If we were lucky that they were close enough, the 400 cable will save you 40 quid over an Lc one from Yamaha Dusty
