To be fair the tanks are a fair representation of ageing they’ve gone from being a svelte lithe young tank that glistened, fitted well could hold its liquid and go all night and aged it 40 years so it’s only fair it’s fatter out of shape, doesn’t look as good and occasionally leaks itself, kind of like the owners. 👍

They are so bad seen one cut in half one time terrible in side bits of welding wire sticking up and spatter every were and rusty. I cant be leave any one stills buy them

It is a bit funny looking but i suspect thats either copious filler or its had its dents 'blown out'. People think you can do that with these tanks, and yet you really shouldnt as they spread and butterfly.

Typical back yard mechanics tho, remember these were cheap bikes back in the day. A bit of compressed air at your mate who 'has done this loads of times' and then a kilo of filler that needs using up and another (same maybe?) mate who's 'great with painting stuff... he did his whole car the other week' etc.
