Hi, Can I replace the powervalves seals just taking off one barrel. I have a 350 Ypvs 1985. Thanks Dave

Yes but personally I'd want to replace both base gaskets to ensure they are the correct thickness
Its only one extra gasket
Oh and torque the head bolts before the base nuts

prevents water leaks, sometimes the head gasket leaks, Best to hand tighten the base nuts, then torque the head and then tighten the base nuts,, Gets the head perfectly seated to the cylinders.

[/quote]What’s the logic for that? Just asking for info.[/quote] Cylinders are sometimes not parallel or even same length between top and bottom Surfaces. Although if more than barely different.. it will leak Far more dangerously from the bottom /base gasket :-)

As above
Head gasket is metal and unforgiving
Base gaskets compress 0.1mm on tightening
Base will take up any tiny differences
