Loving it. Looks like you had a good starter bike, but looks like high quality build you are doing. I'm a bit behind you with my 31k build but if its anything like that will be well happy. I also decided to go French Blue, its a lovely colour. Who has done your paint work?
Keep up the good work and keep posting. Shaun.

Hi Shaun Working Night Shift has helped with the build for how quickly its coming together. Last week I thought I had made a mistake in going with the French Blue colour scheme but having picked it up on Saturday I know I have made the right choice, I used Chris Griffin from Leicester I got his details from LC crazy Facebook page after he put some pics up off the work he has already done

After 10 long weeks finally managed to get the rechromed parts back from the chromers. Managed to sort the mess with with earth wires and the loom now sits nice with out lifting the look from the generator and Johnny Fox salvaged me a fuse holder Plan for today was rebuild front brake calipers but the pistons I brought from Norbo are too big for the calipers and I have used the seals the rear pistons seem fine . Fitted radiator, hoses and new rad cover also fitted rear cowl always nice to put first bit of colour on 20210206_172119 by Tony Wall, on Flickr 20210206_172117 by Tony Wall, on Flickr 20210206_172112 by Tony Wall, on Flickr 20210206_172150 by Tony Wall, on Flickr 20210206_172132 by Tony Wall, on Flickr 20210206_172125 by Tony Wall, on Flickr

Looking very nice already I've seen some of Chris Griffins work on Facebook, and it looks mint I think the French Blue is possibly THE nicest colour for this model. Mouse's hybrid is in those colours and it's stunning Keep up the great work Dusty

I rebuilt my brake callipers as well The front I had a couple of genuine Yamaha kits that I’ve had for years , the pistons were the correct size but the rubber seals were the wrong size which is odd The back caliper I used pistons and seals from Norbo they fitted perfectly
