Sold a few bikes off,Ducati 916 and modern 650 ,and lastly my RZ250 Been offered a F2 but never really liked those Will probably sell the RG250 vj21 when its finished too ,its nearly there ,and buy a RC350LC
Whats the chances of finding a mostly original unrestored one that can just be left or sympathetically tidied up? What sort of budget do I need im not up on prices ,had a look on ebay completed ,but dont really like buying off there
Regards Matt

Hi Matt ! Looking through the classifieds I think you’ll be lucky to find any sort of condition genuine 4LO 350 LC at this moment in time, they seem to of dried up ! That said I would think your looking at a minimum £6 K outlay for a non matching numbers bike these days if such a machine was available ( unless a mate has one they’ll let you have cheap ) . Sounds a lot of money but when you look at how prices of RGV’s , TZR’s etc have gone up it’s no big surprise

Chances?? Slim to None. Curiously; in my Neighborhood (West Coast of Canada) I know of 5 such Lc's within a ~ mile radius of me. Lcs were Popular here. Survivors still are. But as Interesting Bikes, NOT a fools' investment item. Pricings are commensurate. Shippings and the Sodomizing tax regimes in the UK preclude off shore purchases.. though.. so far.

Thank you for the replies, ive had a quick scan online as well as car and classic .The ypvs models seem readily available Always the way ,the bikes i seem to think about buying are difficult to get ! I did put the early colour scheme on my RZ250R, so I suppose its possible to do similar to a YPVS Ive never ridden either bikes I had a RD125LC mk1 in red and never bought a 350 to replace it ,Ive been reading the YPVS is a much better bike to ride. No rush as no space until 1 or 2 more bikes have been sold

mattt I was in a similar position last Spring and eventually found my 4L0 through the LC Club but it was also some lucky timing with one of the guys on here that happened to be selling when I was looking. Good luck and you’ve come to the right place to start looking. 👍

Seems with brexit some of the European supply has dried up for private individuals fetching them over,as for a nice 350 most like me are hanging on to them!,Yes the ypvs is a better bike but there something about the LC just a more raw riding experience if you get my meaning

I have been offered a RD500 but its in kit form ,engine looks like its had work done but of course wont know until its either stripped or fitted if its a runner Ive rebuilt 2 bikes from boxes ,a Ducati 916 and a RG250 ,its a pain when you havent taken them apart yourself as it takes twice as long to work out what bolt goes where ,plus normally the odd part seems to have gone astray

4LO non matching numbers bike, think it was an import as it just said English registered, it looked half tidy £6250. It must of just come on when I saw it but when I went back 5 mins later to copy details for you it had gone ! just found it my recently viewed www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184625295931
