Things heal better with humour bud And do as your good lady tells you (but I'll bet you do anyway! after all they are right....mostly. When I was on one of my hospital trips just after being diagnosed with nasty, we were in the hospital canteen and I was admiring the fruit on the counter. I said they looked great and one of the staff pointed out the person who had polished them..... I congratulated her and told her she could polish my plumbs anytime she liked!!! Well....my Mrs nearly fell over.... and the girls all pissed themselves, probably!

Ouch!!!!
You changing your forum name to scarface now π
Glad you and more importantly the Allspeed came out the other end (well give it 10 days to see if Covid got you)
Know what you mean about hospitals and Covid central. Expecting to get called in myself.
Don't know what's worse, them telling me I'm not getting seen because of Covid, having to go to into a hospital and possibly catch Covid or the news they may give me
π Steve

try rubbing some vitamin E into the scar when it's healing, it may help reduce the scarring, i'v used it mainly on weld burns and eye flash.. I use the liquid that comes in a capsule (like the cod liver oil stuff) and just blob it on..

Heck, it's true what they say, most accidents happen at home. Hope it heals quickly and well.
Sometimes its hard to see how these things happen so easily and in the blink of an eye.
Few years ago my Aunt was in the garden and stood on an inch or so step, didn't contact it properly and fell awkwardly.
Would you believe, compound fracture Tib and Fib.

Bless arrow mate,, it happens,it does, the worst I've seen was my dad who over the years has put a pitch fork through the top of his foot digging over the garden, lost the tip of a finger cutting hedge with electric hedge trimmer lost his ballance our garden was terraced at the time,,heard him shouting on my mum for a bag of frozen peas?? He's lookin around the garden for his piggin finger,, the sowed it back on but lost it eventually and both times never flackerd,,funny as feck at the time tho lol, that's a hard man I thought, been me I would've sqreamed like a byatch lol, so easily done tho, I've had umpteen broken bones, last I counted about 50 viable scars, oh 51 now lol, am not hardπ but high pain tolerance I guess except tooth ache that's a b*****d,,, anyone who knows army dentists are butchers so you don't go back ,, when I left and went to civie dentist he said who's been doing your teeth, tarmac,, all filled at the back, so could of been an eye lost ect lucky I guess,,, and the dog is now fukin barred from the garage PEROD π€¨LITTLE b*****d

Ouch and ouch again. I have had a few injuries from bikes just sitting there. Think the worse was walking into a handlebar and breaking ribs. I never even knew until a routine GP appointment. Heal quickly and don't let the incident put you off Allspeeds!
