You are lucky if you have a local elected leader who will give you the time of day...at council level and house of commons level. Have tried both in the past. Only thing I learned from my attempts was, well not learned... more of a confirmation really....that they were indeed a shower of shite, and worthy of a few crows...

I dont know what area you live in, but certainly Surrey is very bad. It's a commuter county - lots travel from here into London on public transport - that must be a factor, plus parts of London are within Surrey. Plus, Surrey, like everywhere else, has a number of w#*#ers who think they can carry on regardless of the rules. One of the temporary mortuaries is at Headley Court near Leatherhead. It was originally a rehab centre for servicemen and women coming back from Iraq/Afghanistan. It was then sold to a private firm, who "lent" it back when the Covid situation escalated last year, and sites were needed to store the deceased. There are also industrial fridges newly installed in the appliance garages at the Surrey Fire headquarters in Reigate, plus others dotted around the county.

There have been a few MP's and medical experts in their field openly speaking up about many aspects to this whole covid thing for months now, shockingly even they are not being heard it would seem. IMO that is why more people need to question things, so more do get to the commons and put these questions to Boris, that's the way politics works, one person saying this aint being handled right will not be listened to, just pushed aside.
