hi im using exactly the same frame i thought it had been in a accident at some time no reason for r/h side rail to bend inwards i might use a yzf swing arm giving more clearance

I think the later RD frames don't have the weird bend in the one rear rail, so making it harder using the R5 frame...

God hadn’t been in here for a while welcome to the tz top end club rob. You still got those intake gaskets? Why 375 to 350? I’ve gone 34 mm not 36 to make it slightly more practical. I’ve got some spare coolant hose blanking bolts somewhere if you want from memory they are pretty unique size wise. Also got some spare coolant hose I ran flexible core hose that’s reinforced from the pump to the head if you use 4lo bottom end. If you need give me a shout as I may have a spare part or two, or failing that I’ll tell you where I got mine. Ps got your intake rubbers yet? Good luck 👍

Hi Veg
Will have a look for the TZ gaskets. If you need any, just let me know and I can pop some nice replicas in the post ;-)
Not sorted intakes, but may make some hybrid YPVS/Vforce/TZ thing yet...
I do have some TZ pipes, but not sure what brand they are .... or where I have put them!

It was a joint effort. I marked up where to cut and Simon cut it and welded it :-)
Had to space the seat back away from the tank, as there was no ball room.

Looking good Rob🙂 Does your tank clear the shock mount ? I had to trim mine right back. Yours looks further back than mine though so maybe that gives you clearance ? Great progress !

Mount clears tank by about 10mm. My tank has a big groove up the middle underneath. It must have been for a TZ350 with the long monoshock.

Thats good then Rob👍 Its only when I had a close look with the tank fitted on mine that I realised the weight of fuel would make the contact worst. There were witness marks on the tank underside too, but the grinder was employed and I now have clearance ! Look forward to your progress😉

Next missions are radiator, modifying the seat to fill the gap, and footpeg hangers.
Radiator is a little tricky, as want orginalish, but I prefer more than standard cooling, but need to fit under standard fairing.
