Yuasa Battery Help Needed!
I have recently charged/topped up my newish battery on a rd35olc Yuasa 12N5.5-3B (12VOLTS) When re-fitting the yellow filler caps on top, one has snapped in half!! Luckily I was able to remove the snapped part from the filling port The one's i have are the "screw-in" type and apparently Not available from Yuasa (Newer Batteries have a push-fit cap )
I was wondering IF anyone had an old/used battery kicking around that you might be able to supply me with one of the caps OR as many as you can spare obviously, i would be willing to pay for whatever you can send
N.B. these caps are Not available on Ebay/Amazon etc. You can Only buy a complete New battery from Yuasa!!
Many Thanks in advance Brian

How new is this? I'd demand a refund.

Any plug which fits the hole shold work, at least temporary. These plugs are not vented, push in, whatever you find, plastic or rubber.

agree with Brigitte, a bit of tape or an old ear plug would prevent any evaporation until you get something more specific..

flic.kr/p/2kn82zaThis is the cap They are basically generic on Yuasa motorcycle batteries, if it's yellow and has a Screw thread it will work !! I have covered the offending hole with gaffer tape for now Thanks to everyone who suggested that So, IF you have an old Yuasa motorcycle battery lying around, then I would appreciate it if you could spare a cap off the top Regards Brian
