Took this a couple of weeks ago when I was bike shuffling in the garage.. Bonnie & Elsie by KTM Marky, on Flickr 1966 Triumph T120R Bonneville with TT Pipes. I've had it a couple of years and completely stripped and re-built it with new clocks, wheels, paint, loom, chrome etc etc. It is loud, great fun to ride and surprisingly capable..

Had a t120 1965 that I fitted tt pipes to, also fitted a 68 twin leading shoe brake and numerous other updates. Grew up with bonnies my older brother still has my dads 78 T140. Bought mine from Clive humphries he was a big triumph dealer in the 80’s and 90’s. I really want a us t120 1969.

I was born in 66 and have for as long as I remember wanted a 66 Bonnie. So a couple of years back I bought one and set about making it how I always envisaged my ideal one to be. This is it and it has more new parts than I care to remember. lots of parts are still made by LF Harris so getting most bits is OK. I’ve got 67 fork internals and carbs plus Hagon upgrades front and rear so it handles surprisingly well. I did consider a pukka TT but they have no battery or lights so going to the bike meet at the pub becomes a challenge - they are also ‘challenging’ to start with high compression and no battery. My mate has one and he hardly ever uses it for the above reasons. The c**kpit view with the sun on the chrome is just wonderful. lovely that you still have your dads bike too. My son isn’t remotely interested in any of my bikes but says the Bonnie is going to him one day as it’s his favourite. This is a brilliant read:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333698967651
