Has anyone used these?
Do they fit well?
Seem to remember some didn’t?

There were a couple of type of billet PVs. TSS said they made them, but may just have bought them as made by someone else. lots of old bike parts suppliers claim stuff like this yet often they are just buying catalogue parts and reselling them.
TSS had two runs of them. Billet and cast, the cast ones were quickly proven to be rubbish. The billet were good and came in 31K and 1UA versions to cope with different exhaust port heights.
I think FFTP sold the (TSS) billets as they a, look billet in the pics (assuming thats what you get) and b, did the 2 types for the diff cyls etc.
Legend also sold these... no idea where they came from or if any good. No idea if they sold 31k/1UA types either but think not.
I would get some from FFTP, they were US$99/set which is cheap as chips for what they are. OEMs are US$169+ a side now.
I have two sets of the Billets, one set i bought direct from TSS back in the day and fitted like a glove. The 2nd set came with a job lot of (mostly used) parts I bought from a mate who is a NOS parts seller and Ive yet to fit them, but as they came from Aus I suspect they were TSS as well, but Ive no proof of that.
I suspect FFTP buys theirs from the same suppler TSS did. Where from tho...? I would say made in Taiwan perhaps... but could be anywhere, may even be USA? Either way, the TSS billet versions were nice in my experience. so if the FFTP are the same they should be good.

Yes, FFTP did them as above $99 USD
They did 31K and 1UA and you had to specify which ones you wanted, mine were billet
The only issue I had was the outer left hand part, the thread end where the pivot plate attaches had no thread tapped into it, any easy fix with a 6mm tap, annoying just the same
They now list them as 1UA or 1WT and do not include the pins or connecting bolt

Got My TSS 'billet' PVs from the Twit. One of the first group to order them. Albeit not received until a full year after ordering / paying for them. He wasn't happy about being asked for delivery either. As compensation he included a pair of generic small end needle bearings, of the too small 17 mm size though. Can't begin to make this stuff up. MY received PV's, claimed as configuredfor 1UA cyls .. were not! Nor for my 31k cyls either. A Komplete Bungler. Although after an hour apiece with a burr .. they then fit perfectly.

I checked the PV,s from fast from the past, still $99 but the shipping is a minimum of $60 and then there will be 20% vat plus customs handling charge means that they end up as or more expensive than just buying off Norbo,
Unless ten people want to buy and share the shipping and customs charge
