Nasty. I'll never understand why people think the way to 'repair' plastic is with fibreglass. what is the thought process behind that?!
Good news is that you can still find better ones of these and you can save this nasty one as a bit of garage art.

Right folks been a while I've now got a replacement top Fairing that had a couple of damaged bits but I've plastic welded broken missing bits from a mates smashed fairing. And another steel headlight bracket with all its little tangs and brackets intact , Only thing is the top of the bracket I think it's were mirrors fasten on to. It has been ground away had it got captive nuts inside for mirrors to fasten to ? If yes what size thread are they supposed to be ? As orginal ones knackered

Thanks everybody for above help 😜👍, another question is my right side switch throttle body is missing it's internals. And as it has what appears to be a twin cable setup but another bodger up cable been used I thought about using another unit and modify the cable end that fits the carbs as this Rz has linked carbs single cable working them. The loom I've got has a rectangle plug for the switch loom connection. So what model bikes switch gear has this connector fitted ? As I think finding a correct cable will be a pain and I still need the switch gear internals to make it function aswell

I'm a bit confused with the wiring plug
Usually a RH switch has 5 wires, that plug has 6 so I'm wondering what it is for 🤔
I'd have to check the wiring diagram
Also, does your RH switch body have 1 or 2 holes for throttle cables
The ones with 2 are rare as UK or Europe never had the 2 Cable system
I may have the correct 2 cable throttle Cable but no use if your housing only has one or you can't get internals for yours

I may also have a 2 hole hosing and one of the cables for the linked carbs.
I've just put stock 31k separate carbs on my US RZ.

51L loom... hmm... most F1s are a 57V loom, so that sounds like a JDM loom perhaps and that dovetails with the 2 cable throttle (USA parts from partzilla etc will work there) and Im not 100% sure what differences they had.... certainly an 80kmh light on the dash, but that shouldnt be in the loom it will be in the dash? hmm... Anyway, 51L is defo an 84/5 and an F1 so thats very close, i doubt you'll get closer to be honest these days.
Re the switch, I think you should just find an 85 switch and go from there with tracing the wires and working it out. the 83/4 is the same but has shorter wires and diff connectors as they connect in the headlight, on the 85 its under the infill panel/tank.
I do remember a connector like that on my F1 i think... Anyway, this is going to take some time to work out i think. Diff markets had diff things on the switches, ie some had lights on/of, some had parker setting, some had no switch as lights were always on. Its all about rules for each market. Same as on other side some have 'pass' some dont (like Canada). If you have a loom from a market with something extra/missing you will have diff amounts of wires in the blocks. Same with the switches, some have less/more wires coming from them. They can also be diff colours as the switch is generic for that market and is used on other bikes, the look would have been made to cope with that etc.
Also some markets didnt have indicator timer and that is deleted in diff ways.
It is possible with time and effort to work this out and make it all work, I love that kind of challenge, but know its not everyones cup of char.
