Hi,
I'm hoping someone can advise me on the laws in the UK regarding motorcycle headlights.
I want to replace the headlight on my RD350R and get rid of the aftermarket single headlight jobbie that I bodged on years ago.
In adverts it mentions 'E' marks, homologated, Dot standards, etc.
In the MOT requirements its just mentions the aim of the beam, so I presume the beam has to be adjustable, and have a high/low switch.
Can anyone advise what lights I can/cannot fit.
Thanks

In theory it should dip to the left but on bikes this age a flat beam is fine
Just don't use a Euro one as they dipped to the right
The LC and lc2 UK, Jap and USA beam patterns are the same despite the yanks driving on the obviously wrong side of the road so flat dip beam

That’s a great help.
I keep thinking about a daylight only MOT 🤔
Thanks very much
