It’s a uk, it’ll do at least £250 I reckon, not surprised if it does over £500 with the olive drab idiots about.

I guess the clocks are a significant part of an LC build, and one of the first things to get f**ked when the bike gets chucked down the road. Glad I did mine years ago... got a set with good cases, all working for $50AUD. A reet bargain!

A few white letters missing is £250's worth. A black permanent marker over the top of the white lettering would be good enough for all but a conkers judge... and they are nuts.... like the buyer...

I like the tagline in the description "BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER ITEMS FOR MORE GENUINE YAMAHA BARGAINS!!"

I may or may not need a set of clock cases depending on what I un-earth and what state they are in but I'll probably put up with a bit of Japanese writing and keep the £270 in my pocket ta.
I bought one or two sets of these back in the day after experiencing a couple of problems keeping the bike away from the tarmac. I don't know what they cost then but I reckon an inflation adjusted/wages calculation they were nearer to the £300 plus than the £58.

Wonder what the cost would be to build a bike with as many NOS parts you could get your hands on ? From prices of stuff I’ve seen advertised lately must be approaching £15K 🤑🤑

I've got a set of gen yam cases, with original 80's scratches and scrapes and damage. Essential for that proper retro rebuild. Both top and bottom £400 anyone? 🤣😂

That's just fookin daft ! Couldn't the Jap writing be polished out on the new ones ? I just put a bit of polish like T Cut on a cotton bud and the Jap writing came off really easy on the one I got quite a few years ago
