I have an early PV rear wheel and will be fitting a 110/90/18 rear tyre. Do I need a specific size inner tube to match this? Or will it be the same size as in 4lo rear wheel?
Cheers

Aren’t they tubeless. Alloy wheels etc. I’ve never had a problem. Track days. Flat out two up riding. Idiot riding. Etc etc. especially when your 17 etc. I’ve never ever fitted a tube in one, or any of my friends as I did most of the work on their bikes when we were teenagers.

My LC is tubeless, as was my LC and valve back in the day. There is much debate about the LC rims, but mine ain't been a problem, and I do have an italic rim like the LC stamped suitable for tubeless tyres.

Says tubeless on the rim (PV wheel ). I'm sure my LC has tube fitted. I was going to fit one as that seems to be the advice on here. Having said that I'm sure the wheel I have has a valve fitted so hasnt had a tube fitted last time.

PV wheels are tubeless, so no need for a tube flames. The advice on here is that LC wheels need tubes (they are not tubeless and there are stories of them deflating, tacky I would add tubes to your LC...). Fitting a YPVS wheel to an LC doesnt mean it needs tubes Duncan, Ive not seen an LC rim here (250 or 350) that said tubeless.

It's not an LC wheel Jon, but an italic wheel for an XJ or somat from the same era. Slightly wider, but same rim profie. Has TL cast in like the LC, but 'suitable for tubeless' stamped in.

Ahh XJ550 perhaps, I have one here like that, hadnt seen the 'tubeless' script, but I expect youre on the money mate. PV wheels are tubeless, so no need for a tube flames.
