Has anyone have an idea how to remove a small dent on an exhaust it was made by the spring retainer head fitting on the side stand exhaust is stainless steel and unploished dent removal guy has already told me because of were it is it's not possible to get access with any tools and so he would need to drill a 12mm hole in the underside of the pipe to fix it then weld up the 12mm access hole , i dont want to go down this road so just putting it out there to you guy's as to other possible way's any help appreciated ZiG

2 ways I can see
1) drill a hole in the inside of the pipe to insert a rod...
2) drill a hole 15-20mm right at the dent. Make a round ended former from some steel rod and shape a bit of stainless plate into a dome shape and cut down to the size of the hole you drilled in the pipe then get it tig welded in so you have a deliberate indent to clear the stand lug

If it's only small you could just fill it. 4L04ever has a build in restorations he smoothed the exhaust with JB weld.

Try a Body shop ? They typically spot weld on a stud.. use it to pull out the dents.. then grind it off.. No holes and no fillers.

No holes and no fillers. thought of that also....but being a set of unpolished stainless pipes i would still have a mark from the spot weld meaning i would have to polish to blend the mark left...but yes an option ZiG
