that sounds a bargain.. i had something similar, somehow a chunk broke off a stud hole and i got my local machine shop to weld it up, drill and tap it to take a new stud... only had to take it back twice because they couldn't be bothered to flatten off the gasket face to my satisfaction.. next time i'll check with a straight edge before i leave.
can't remember how much it cost, probably about 30/ 40 quid but i'd have been happier paying double that if i didn't have to go back..

If you are going to sell it as a "fully restored bike" you could super glue whats left of the stud together............ been done before by "enthusiasts"
There must be some sort law in physics that decrees that there shall always be one that is f**king seized... A ballache that everyone has had. If you haven't .... then you are one lucky beggar....

Yep agree mate. My casings looked like they been stood for a bit in a damp garage when I got them cleaned up nicely and internals all look OK, a complete bottom end so if that's the only issue to have I'm cool lol spoke to dave today,,, top bloke, I liked him instantly,, good crack and knows his stuff, so it will get sorted happy days,
