No mate it's a mk2 with a duratec 2 litre with throttle bodies about 250bhp,, a mate of mines its awesome I see the twin cam and thought either BDA or Cosy, I remember seeing an article in a mag years ago about a mk2 with cosy engine, thought that must be a beast. Though 250BHP in a mk2 escort must be a laugh too. I had a S2 RS turbo 185BHP with hybrid turbo, the front end would dance around trying to find some grip if you pinned it to hard off a bend, It kept trying to find the curb, fun car though.

I used to rally a mk2 gp4 escort 2.2 engine turreted 5linked rear lsd all the gear and it would spin the back wheels on tarmac up to 4th gear,, 285 bhp but super low gearing would only do about 120 top end but man would rev to 9000rpm,, wish I still had it spent a foutune on that one,, like I seam to do with them all,, best car I ever had,, fun wise,, sideways round roundabouts, opposite lock, loved it,

A friend of mine had a mk2 escort with 2.0 pinto engine, it was in a 1.3, had 1.3 gearbox and dif, only did a few miles before he needed a new dif, lock to lock round roundabouts and accelerated like nothing else, he kept changing the dif when it went as it was so fast off the start. I had a Chevette with a 1.6 Ford OHC engine, manta axle and 1.6 Ford gearbox, that was a sideways machine too, lost it on a bend in the snow and hit a Transit pick up 3.5 ton joby, front end was like a concertina after that, not a mark on the transit as I hit the rear end axle, and as luck would have it, I knew the girl driving the transit, she wasn't insured to drive it so nothing was said, she did pull out in front of me, but I shouldn't have been sideways in the snow either, I had only just had it sprayed to look like a Mexico, what a waist that was. Those were the days
