I’ve thought this before, but never posted.
If you live in india and have a battered old LC as you only transport, these are a good option. Only point is price. These are worth a few rupees to keep a bike on the road so may have a very small market.
Why do they try and tout their products abroud to those with much more disposable income when better products are available?
I guess it’s just Chancers, or those that don’t realise better stuff is available?

I think jaymik who ever he is is a tosser. He knows this will not fit an LC and is junk but is trying to get some money back all the same. Hes basically ripping someone off. I say that as there was a video posted on Fb (reported here) where a guy bought and indian tank and not only was the shape wrong but the fuel tap hole was in the wrong place, exiting where the frame rail was. You could never have used the tank on a bike.

In the end he cut it open and it was just bits of steel (poor) laid on top of other bits and hammered and welded the Funk out of to make it something like. I would be surprised if it could ever hold fuel. An ornament in the back of the shed is really only what it is good for.

at least he is honest about it . you buy it you take your chances. he made a mistake so is trying to get back something for it rather then just binning it. There was some pictures or vid one some bloke that cut his open to see what they looked like in side. now that was a bloody mess.

I dont think the seller is being honest tho. If he was he would show it on the bike and tell you where it doesnt fit.

If you wanted summat to just hold petrol... providing it was leakproof. And wasn't bothered about fit... you would use a jerry can, not pay over a hundred pounds. might as well source a battered wreck and fill with isopon... Or buy an inexpensive new one off Lord Norbs. Cheap as chips when compared to your new jap lumps new tank price label. £390 for a new as good as you will get tank.. a no brainer....................

i would like to think that most people looking at his advert would draw the conclusion that "he decided not to use it on his bike" meaning that it wont fit but hey it went for £107.50 mart

Reply from the seller who stated buyer was aware and told him the following so he has a clear conscience, you cynical bunch I shall be getting it repainted, my dogs are going to have paint brushes attached to their tails 1 white 1 blue 1 light blue 1 blank then with a packet of bonios I shall persuade them to paint said tank for me, this will then be sold as a piece of abstract automotive art to an art dealer friend in Chelsea. I am expecting great things as it shows the juxtaposition of the criminallyexploited in today’s society with the base consumerism rampant in the west which only allows for the subjugation of 3rd world workers doing their best with the Bronze Age tools they have available The piece will be titled ‘unus natus perparvis’
