Hi - I'm looking for guidance around speedo drive options when fitting a VJ22 front end. These might be naive questions, but this is new to me, and I've not fully investigated this Seems the standard 4L0 speedo drive is too small to fit the VJ22 axle, So what are my options here? Electronic speedo - ? - If so, assume I will need a drive sized spacer to replace it? Or can the standard speedo drive be adapted to fit? Or are there alternative speedo drives that will fit? Thanks in advance Tim

If you are using VJ22 forks as well use a VJ22 speedo drive, also an RGV cable will attach to LC clocks, no prob

As above rgv drive (think rf600 is same) and either rgv or Bandit cable

Thanks guys - it would be great to be able to see what other models use the same drive as the RGV prices seem to attract a premium on Ebay (really Sherlock?)

If you are up for some modifications I used an xjr400 and an rd400 one on my last 2 hybrids as were 17mm spindle
Not sure how the drive tab, washer and seal set up would work but worth a try
Also look at bandit drives as although they are a different cable end type at the drive they may be easier to get to fit
Just used a gs500 one on my kettle/TR build but that's 15mm spindle

I used the RGV on mine, the RGV OEM cable fits the LC speedo.
I then went GPS later. all info on my site.

Been thinking about a GPS Speedo go mine, are they reliable? As in do they lose signal much / at all?
