As I look to MOT my 500 for UK registration, I'd like to improve the brakes. They're fine for an MOT & I know with modern bikes we get a bit spoilt with great modulation and braking effect.
They've done c. 18k miles and are a bit glazed and worn, but not terribly so.
I'd like to preserve originality hence the preference to skim them if I can leave enough metal on them.
Any suggestions who'd do a sympathetic job for me?
Cheers
Mark
P.S. Still on rubber hoses and anti dive connected.

To answer my own question, I found a place in Sheffield that skim discs. Chap called Dean seems very helpful: www.thediscdoctor.co.uk/Not an endorsement, just FYI in case anyone needs a similar service.
