First 20 mins is awesome, was shot as a single sequence. You feel part of it.
RD 350 LC - 1982 - bounty like my bike in the 80's, finally got an original UK one. 31K/Aprilia RS hybrid - ex Yogi and Muttsnuts bike - my first hybrid Triumph Street Triple R (sorry!) ...and a box of bits I hope to be able to turn into a 1983 31K
I've seen it a couple of times - first at the cinema and then on a Tv app. I agree, a great film. Some bits are a bit far fetched of course, but that's film, and you have to strike a balance between realism and entertainment, but I still really enjoyed it. I've got a mate who is a Battlefield tour guide of 30 odd years, and he gave it the thumbs up so that's good. And nice to see a film where the Yanks don't come galloping in to save the day and rewrite history (U571 anyone !!)
13hrs Lot of yank wank though isn’t it? It’s an ok film but loads of ww2 films from Eastern Europe that are far greater incl battle for Sevastopol brilliant film based on true story which is incredible if you read it.
Arguing with idiots is like banging your head against a wall pointless!
Heard of it but haven't as yet seen it,, maybe one for this weekend,,, saw danger close other night about aussies in Vietnam that was quiet good I thought but agree 13hrs is good but I see your point about gun ho yanks,, another good one is siege at jadotville which is based on true story I think,, must admit like a good war movie
