Hi, I have fitted my exhausts and notice that when my side stand is flicked up, it hits my exhausts. Is that the design? I feel that there should be a rubber bung or something.

It is caused by wear in the bolt hole in the stand & frame allowing the rear mounted spring to pull the stand onto the pipe.
Possible to fix by bushing both holes or welding them & re-drilling to the correct size.

Another option is to get me to make an oversized side stand bolt and drill the holes bigger.
Next time the frame is apart for paint weld them up and drill back to OEM as OEB suggests.
If using a bush you would probably have the have one for the fame and another for the stand.
