No not talking about the LC :-)
We have a Ford Focus and don't know if it's the severe angle of the windscreen or the dash is huge but the reflection is pretty bad to say the least
Anyone out there got a solution ?
Is there a product to spray on to reduce the sheen etc ?

Think you just get used to looming through the reflection rather than looking at it
Had a few bad ones, especially tan interiors
Or those Peugeots that had the coloured dashboards 🤢

Try and use a Matt finish polish
Garages tend to use silicone stuff and it's really shiny

Or do what I do and never dust the dashboard
When manky it doesn't reflect the light 🤣

There are some on fleabay but are all from China
They look a bit odd though with a matt on the dashboard but would work
Need to de shine the dashboard with some product to reduce it

Lots of Aussie cars have dash mats, the sun warps and cracks the dash otherwise.

Whatever you do don’t use that non slip webbed matting stuff
We put some on our dash and it’s released some substance onto the windscreen and it’s a real mongrel to get off, it just smears everywhere

Its only a car... smash the windscreen and get the motorcycle ride effect...

Some car designers are obviously on some sort of influential substances. Mrs is looking for a replacement car, and one that has caught her eye has the speedo to the left of the driver...so you have to take your eyes off the way ahead and glance to the side!! Not a case of a simple flick of the eyesight down then back up with everything still in peripheral vision...unless you are f**king cross eyed or pisssed...in which case it would be an absolute boon.

And such a shame too... it ticks the boxes for her. So many cars ruined by shape, especially the sloping, both inwards and down at the rear end. Small dog box wont fit in most "estates"
I did sit in said car and tried to imagine what driving it was like whilst glancing at the speedo.... would of been ok IF there was a hud thingy shining speed info onto the bottom of the windscreen.. but alas..

That just a manufacturer giving less of a sh1t about safety than probably having to make 2 dashboards for LHD and RHD
Anyway, were all mini's new and old not like that
Some French stuff has an LCD in the middle too which is bollocks as the wife can see you're speeding easier
In saying that mine is in the "correct" place and you don't really feel the speed in it
When I first got it I was getting to the end of a section of a single carriageway section and trying to catch and pass an HGV
Normally my wife is a bit of a nervous passenger
"Are you not going to go faster if you want to pass that?"
"I'm trying to keep my license, I'm doing 110" 🙄

Some toyotas have a digital speedo in the middle as well.
